This website is operated by Sean Countertops Inc. (“we”, “us”), a stone fabrication and installation company with its head office at 300 & 310 Deerhide Crescent, North York, ON M9M 2Y6. This policy explains what information we collect through seancountertops.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

You can contact us through three forms on this website: the Fast Estimate Request and Book Templating forms in the “Start Your Project” section, and the General Inquiries form on our Contact page. Depending on the form, we collect:

• Your name, email address and phone number.
• The type of project or service you're interested in, your slab material preference, and preferred templating date and time.
• Your project address (templating requests).
• Your message, subject line, and any project details you choose to include.
• An optional file you upload with an estimate request, such as blueprints, drawings or dimensions (PDF, JPG or PNG, up to 4MB).
• The page of our website the form was submitted from, and the date and time of submission.

Please don't include sensitive personal information (such as financial or health information) in a form or upload.

• To respond to your enquiry, prepare an estimate, or arrange a consultation or templating appointment.
• To send you a one-time email confirming we received your request.
• To communicate with you about a project you ask us to quote or complete.
• To protect our forms from spam, abuse and automated submissions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use form submissions to add you to a marketing list.

When you visit, our hosting and security systems may process your IP address, browser and device information, request timestamps and diagnostic records to deliver the website, prevent abuse and investigate errors. Our forms use automated spam checks and submission limits.

We use aggregate website analytics to understand page visits, referring websites, general device and country information, and use of selected outbound links. These events do not include the contents of your forms or uploaded drawings. Our current analytics integration does not set analytics cookies.

The appointment calendar loads when you choose to open it. The booking service may collect your name, email address, appointment selection and any details you enter to arrange your meeting and deliver booking communications. Our contact page also includes an embedded map.

When an embedded service loads, its operator receives technical information such as your IP address and browser details and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy terms. Your browser settings may let you restrict these technologies, although some features may not work. You can contact us by phone or email instead of using the calendar or online forms.

Links to other businesses and websites lead to independently operated services. Their privacy practices apply when you visit them. Following a link does not automatically send them your enquiry or uploaded files; referral links may identify the referring website and link placement.

We use service providers for website hosting, email delivery and storage, security, analytics, mapping and appointment scheduling. They process information necessary to perform those functions. Form submissions and attachments are delivered to our business inbox, and booking information is processed through our scheduling service.

Information may be stored or processed outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to access by courts, law enforcement or other authorities under local law. We remain responsible for personal information under our control and take reasonable steps to select and manage providers appropriately.

We may also disclose information where required or permitted by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect against fraud and security threats. We do not sell your personal information. Contact us if you would like more information about the providers handling your information.

We keep form submissions and related emails, including any files you send, for up to 24 months. We may keep them longer only when they are needed for an active customer relationship, to meet a legal obligation, or in connection with a dispute.

We use encrypted website connections and reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please share only information relevant to your project and ensure you have permission to provide information or drawings that relate to someone else.

When you submit an enquiry or book an appointment, we use the details you provide for the purposes explained here and at the point of collection. We will seek additional consent where required before using personal information for a new purpose.

You may withdraw consent to further use or disclosure, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. This may limit our ability to respond to your request or provide a service. Withdrawal does not require us to remove records we must lawfully retain.
